On April 22^th, QIT held the the opening ceremony of 2016 Spring Track and Field Sports Meeting. Prof, Song Huanxin, former Chairman of Qufu University, Prof. Xi Zhengkai, former president of University of Jinan, Prof. Wang Yanbi, former president of Shandong University of Medical Science and Prof. Ying Jiming from  Shandong Provincial Department of Education were invited. The opening ceremony was host by Su Zhanbing, Vice Chairman of University Council; Kong Xianfu, Vice President of QIT made the opening statement. In the opening ceremony, students gave impressive performances of gymnastics show and ballroom dancing. Then athletes and referee representatives took the game oath, expressing the determination of fair play. Prof. Song declared the race open.
