Marxism

The School of Marxism of Qilu Institute of Technology was established in December 2018, with its predecessor, the Department of Ideological and Political Theory Teaching, founded in May 2014. It is an academic teaching and research institution under the leadership of the university board of directors, the Party committee, and the university administration.

The primary responsibilities of the school of Marxism are to comprehensively organize, implement, and coordinate the teaching and development of ideological and political theory courses (IPT courses) across the university. It educates students on the Marxist worldview, outlook on life, and core values, ethics, and legal awareness, guiding them to foster noble ideals and sentiments, cultivate sound ideological and moral qualities, and master the scientific system and basic tenets of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. It also helps students learn to apply the Marxist worldviews and methodologies to understand, analyze, and solve problems. The School strives to make ideological and political theory courses truly important courses that students genuinely enjoy, benefit from throughout their lives, and remember forever, and to cultivate all students of the university into qualified builders and reliable successors of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
