About Us

The School of Marxism at Qilu Institute of Technology was established in December 2018. Its predecessor, the Department of Ideological and Political Theory Teaching, was founded in May 2014. It is a secondary teaching and research institution under the leadership of the University Board of Directors, the University Party Committee, and the University Administration.  

The primary responsibilities of the School of Marxism are to comprehensively organize, implement, and coordinate the teaching and development of ideological and political theory courses across the university. It is tasked with educating students in the Marxist worldview, outlook on life, values, ethics, and legal principles, guiding them to cultivate noble ideals and sentiments, develop sound ideological and moral qualities, and master the scientific system and fundamental viewpoints of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The school also helps students learn to apply the Marxist worldview and methodology to understand, analyze, and solve problems.  

The goal is to ensure that ideological and political theory courses truly become important courses that students "sincerely enjoy, benefit from for life, and remember forever," and to strive to cultivate all students into qualified builders and reliable successors of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
