​ Basic Courses Department 

Guided by the school motto “Seeking Knowledge, Seeking Truth, Seeking Goodness, Seeking Beauty”, the Basic Courses Department aims to foster high-quality application-oriented talents. It has formed a dynamic teaching team distinguished by high ethical standards, devotion to work, well-balanced structure of academic titles and educational qualifications and strong professional skills. The department operates teaching divisions across both the Jinan and Qufu campuses and three teaching and research offices for College English, College Physical Education and College Physics. It offers core basic courses including College English, College Physical Education, College Physics and College Physics Experiments, and organizes competitions and sports training activities.

College English, College Physical Education and College Physics are designated as school-level Quality Courses. Many teachers have won titles such as Excellent Double-Qualified Teacher, Most Beloved Teacher and Model of Teacher Ethics. Its three teaching and research offices have been awarded the title of school-level Excellent Teaching and Research Offices. The department stands out for developing first-class courses and embedding ideological-political elements into classroom instruction. Centered on students, it prioritizes enhancing students’ comprehensive practical abilities in teaching.
