 Liberal Arts

The School of Liberal Arts offers five undergraduate majors: Chinese Language and Literature, Secretarial Studies, Chinese Language and Culture, English and Japanese. Following the “Four‑Know” school motto, it promotes the “Four‑Advocate” school ethos and the “Four‑Learn” study ethos. Based on the university’s “Three‑Three‑Three” talent cultivation model and oriented to regional economic and social needs, the school implements the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) philosophy. It aims to cultivate high‑quality application‑oriented professionals shaped by Qilu culture, who are proficient in languages, well‑versed in humanities, skilled in communication and strong in practice. It has built a Language Experimental Teaching Center, which comprises an Intelligent Teaching Training Room, an Intelligent Translation Laboratory and a Multi-functional Digital Language Laboratory. It has established 23 long-term, high-quality off-campus bases for practical training, employment and industry-university research cooperation. Endowed with a rich collection of books, audio and video resources, the school is equipped with advanced and complete software and hardware facilities, fully catering to students' personalized and diverse development needs.
