On September 20 and 21, the Opening Ceremony for the 2026 new students was held at the Qufu and Jinan campuses respectively. Professor Chang Cuiming, President of QIT, other university leaders, heads of all teaching units and departments, faculty representatives, together with the 2026 freshmen, gathered to embark on a new journey of university life. The ceremonies were presided over by Executive Vice President Zhang Gengling and Vice President Li Zhao respectively.
