To further advance the Qilu Cultural Education Program, highlight its distinctive features, and help freshmen of the Class of 2026 integrate into the university’s initiative for education through fine traditional Qilu culture, the Xingtan Lecture Hall, a flagship project of the university’s Qilu Cultural Education Program, kicked off grandly at Mingde Hall, Jixia Building on the morning of September 9. The university specially invited Professor Jin Haifeng, a renowned expert in Chinese traditional studies from Changchun University, to deliver a special lecture titled The Spirit of The Great Learning: Learning, Reflection, Practice and Implementation in Golden Quotes from The Analects. University leaders, some faculty members and all freshmen of the Class of 2026 attended the lecture at different venues. Zhang Gengling, Executive Vice President, presided over the event.
