On June 3, the concert Eternal Jiaxuan, Immortal Glory: Art Songs Adapted from Xin Qiji’s Ci Poems was staged at Mingde Hall, Jixia Building of the university, drawing nearly a thousand teachers and students to attend the performance. The concert was masterminded by Professor Fang Hongjian, former Deputy Party Secretary of Shandong University and affiliated with the Li Qingzhao and Xin Qiji Culture Research Institute of Qilu Institute of Technology. Renowned vocal artists Lei Yan, Fan Xiaoyi, Wei Fanjian, Fan Yating, Wang Hui and Lu Jingshu, together with six faculty members from our university, delivered an impassioned performance.
