On 16^th November, “Shandong Sports Association Cup” College Students Badminton Championships came to a end at Fuhua Wuhuan Badminton Hall in Wei Fang. In this competition, the QIT badminton team carried forward the spirit of unity, cooperation and perseverance. Xiang Tao, the student of 2016 Medical Imaging Technology of the School of Nursing , won the fourth prize for women in group B; Zhang Ailing, the student of 2014 Trade Economics Class won the fifth prize in women’s singles in group A. Xiang Tao and Zhao Zhiyue, students from 2016 Medical Imaging Technology, received the sixth prize of mixed doubles in group B; Zhang Ailing and Tao Lin, from 2014 Civil Engineering class, received the eighth prize of mixed doubles in group A. The QIT badminton team won the “Sports Ethics Award”; Xiang Tao and Xia Guanyu, students from 2015 Electronic Information Engineering, were awarded the title of “Excellent Sportsman”. Chen Changwei, the teacher of physical education from the Department of Basic Course, won the title of “Excellent Coach”.

The College Students Badminton Championships provides a platform for students to display themselves. Our school attaches great importance to enrich college students’ extracurricular sports activities. It is beneficial to promote the formation of badminton sport and sports culture atmosphere in our school by participating in the provincial competition.
