On June 21, 2017, QIT Delegation, led by the President Chang Cuiming, attended “German Enterprises’ New Opportunities in ‘Made in China 2025’ ” Sino-German cooperation project promotion conference and the signing ceremony in Frankfurt. Vice President Shan Chengjuan and Sun Keke, Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation accompanied.

Wang Wentao, Shandong Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Jinan Municipal Party Committee, Eric, President of Germany’s Rheinstock Co., Ltd., Ulrich Weber, German IPC Financial Consulting Company Managing Director and more than 40 Chinese and German guests attended the conference.

During the conference, President Chang Cuiming conducted extensive exchanges with famous enterprises about industrial 4.0, dual system of colleges, students exchange and Sino-German cooperation. At the signing ceremony, President Chang Cuiming, signed a cooperation agreement with the President of German Rhineland Co. Ltd. on the university’s electrical engineering and its automation, mechanical design, manufacturing and automation, automation, mechanical and electrical integration professional specialty construction, technical services, project research and development, the “Double Type” teachers’ cultivation, courses and teaching materials construction, as well as the introduction of the German federation of industry and commerce (IHK) performance evaluation system.

After the meeting, the delegation visited the cross-enterprise training center of the IHK in Hagen and the production base of Rhine, Germany, and talked about the development prospect and in-depth cooperation in the field of Sino-German cross-enterprise training.

The visit to Germany has further improved the university-enterprise cooperation, strengthened the cooperation project, expanded the areas of cooperation which conforms to the development trend of future education. With the “Belt and Road” strategy and made 2025 booming China environment, this visit will surely promote the cultivation of applied talents with major international background in QIT.
