Recently, the 14^th “Challenge Cup” Extracurricular Academic Work of Science and Technology Contest for College Students was held in Shandong Normal University. The work “An Investigation on the Social Status Quo and Employment Will and Entrepreneurial Intention of College Students” under the direct of Xue Cui from Qilu Institute of Technology won the Third Prize.

The “Challenge Cup” Extracurricular Academic Work of Science and Technology Contest is hosted by Shandong Communist Youth League, Shandong Association for Science & Technology, Shandong Provincial Education Department, Department of Science & Technology of Shandong Province, Students’ Federation of Shandong Province, and Luxin Group, organized by Shandong Normal University, co-organized by Luxin Venture Capital Group Co., Ltd. It is a significant carrier for college students to foster their innovative consciousness, creative ability and entrepreneurship. In the semi-finals, altogether there were 4386 pieces of works from 80 colleges participated in the contest, covering a variety of fields, such as information technology, philosophy, economics, sociology, law, education, etc. As the highest-level event in the field of science, technology and innovation for college students in Shandong Province, the 14th contest attracted a large number of young people and various circles of society, especially the business world and venture capital institutions.
