On the afternoon of June 5^th, Professor Chen Lianbi held a theme lecture on “MOOC, Micro Class and Flipped Classroom” in Jinan Campus.

Prof. Chen first explained the major significance and impact of the development of modern education.He stressed that "MOOC enters into universities and colleges" was the general trend of educational development. Universities and colleges should regard this task as an important part of education reform as they are the main part of MOOC construction and application. Subsequently, Prof. Chen interpreted the basic concepts, impact, origin and the relationship between MOOC, micro class and flipped classroom.

Finally, Prof. Chen pointed out that carrying out MOOC in our institute is the trend of education reform and also an effective help for the improvement of teaching quality. He called on teachers to take in-depth understanding of MOOC, learn the production processes of MOOC and micro class, but also consciously apply them to their own teaching activities.
