Undergraduate Degree Program-- English

This program aims to cultivate talents with basic knowledge of English language and  literature as well as scientific way of thinking, strong ability to analyze and solve problems. The undergraduates are able to engage in teaching, research, translating, editing, tour guiding and management in schools, research institutions, foreign trade enterprises, publishing companies and tourism companies.

Comprehensive English, advanced english, phonetics, grammar, English composition, English listening, oral English, linguistics, literature, lexicology, interpretation, translation theory and practice, British and American culture, and selected readings in newspapers and periodicals, etc..
