The Chun Lei Drama Society of Qilu Institute of Technology was established in May 2017. Supported by the leaders at all levels of the university, it is a young and dynamic student organization with distinct professional characteristics.

Upon its debut, the first performance of Thunderstorm (a classic play) aroused widespread attention. It was from this that the name "Chun Lei " was born—emerging in spring and beginning with thunderstorms. Our society is a comprehensive student organization primarily focused on drama, encompassing cross-talk, skits, micro-films, situational plays, and more.

Since its founding, our society has organized numerous activities. From Longxu Ditch in May 2018, Qu Yuan in December of the same year, to Wotou Club in December 2019, each of these performances has showcased the vitality of the Chun Lei Drama Society. The continuous hosting of the Quyi Cup Cross-talk and Skit Competition over the years, along with the outstanding performances of our members, has reflected the boundless potential of the Chun Lei Drama Society. This is a gathering place for performing arts enthusiasts, and this is the Chun Lei Drama Society where theater reigns supreme.
