The Foreign Languages Association of Qilu Institute of Technology was established in September 2005. It is a student organization dedicated to enhancing students' foreign language proficiency and promoting cross-cultural communication. The association strives to provide a platform for all students to learn and practice foreign languages, helping them improve their language skills in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, broaden their international perspectives, and strengthen cross-cultural communication abilities.

Guided by the motto "Expanding Global Competence, Achieving Shared Excellence," the language association organizes annual events including debate competitions, foreign language calligraphy contests, dubbing competitions, English drama performances, foreign song singing contests, and English speech contests. It encourages English enthusiasts to participate in national and provincial competitions such as the FLTRP Cup National College English Debate, Speech, Writing and Reading Contests,  National English Competition for College Students, Shandong Province Science & Technology Foreign Language Contest, and Shandong Provincial Service Outsourcing Foreign Language Competition. By integrating competition with learning, the association creates a platform for students interested in foreign languages to showcase their talents, explore their potential, and achieve personal growth.
