Dr. Jaffer Saddique joined Qilu Institute of Technology as an Associate Professor in 2025. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Microstructure and Property of Advanced Materials at Beijing University of Technology in 2019. He then joined College of Materials Science and Technology, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (from 2020-2022) and worked as a full-time postdoctoral researcher. Dr. Jaffer joined College of Chemistry and Material Science at Zhejiang Normal University and worked as a postdoctoral researcher (from 2023-2025). His research interests primarily focus on advanced electrode materials for lithium/sodium-ions batteries and DFT calculation of two- dimensional (2D) materials application for perovskite solar cell.  He has published more than 25 papers as first and co-author in high-impact journals including Nano energy, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, Journal of Material Science and Technology, ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering and ACS Applied Energy Materials, etc.
