Dr. Asfandiyar is an Associate professor of the School of Physics at Qilu Institute of Technology, China. He obtained his PhD degree from Tsinghua University (1^st-ranked university in China & 12^th in world university rankings 2025). Professor Asfandiyar received a Silver Medal in physics during his master’s studies. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen, China, from 2022 to 2024. His research interests include electron/hole and phonon transport behaviors in the compounds (semiconductors) with layer structures. He has authored over 16 peer-reviewed publications in international journals, which have been cited over 900 times. His research work, as a first author, has been published in journals such as Nano Energy, Nature.com, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, etc. Professor Asfandiyar has presented his research work in international and national conferences/workshops.
