Dr. Muhammad Yar Khan earned his Ph.D. in Physics from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, specializing in two-dimensional (2D) magnetic materials for spintronics and nanoelectronics devices. His research expertise focuses on advanced computational material modeling, with extensive experience using VASP and FLAPW simulation packages.

Currently, Dr. Khan is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at Qilu Institute of Technology. Prior to his doctoral studies, Dr. Khan accumulated over 10 years of teaching and research experience as a Lecturer at several prestigious universities in Pakistan. His proficiency with first-principles simulation tools has been instrumental in advancing multiple cutting-edge research projects.

Dr. Khan has made significant contributions to the fields of 2D materials, spintronics, and nanoelectronics through innovative research and the publication of several articles in highly reputed international journals such as Nanoscale, ACS Journals, Journal of Magnesium and Alloys, and Physics Letters A.
