In 2019, Dr. Tariq Usman completed his Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics at Zhejiang University, China. Following the completion of his Ph.D., he embarked on an academic journey to the University of Islamic College, Peshawar, Pakistan, where he served as an Assistant Professor of Physics. Driven by his fondness for the Chinese academic environment, he returned to China and joined the esteemed Qilu Institute of Technology. During his career, he has authored 11 research papers in reputed scientific journals and has made outstanding contributions in the areas of surface science, catalysis, chalcedony, 2D materials, metal/ceramic interfaces and semiconductors, advancing our understanding of these complex areas in physics.
