Wajahat Sammer Ansari graduated from Dalian University of Technology, China, with a Ph.D. degree in Construction Materials Science (Civil Engineering). His main research interests include physical phase analysis of cement composites, durability characterisation of special cements, XRD, TGA, FT-IR analysis of cement composites, materials carbonation, construction management, risk management, planning and contract management.

He has worked as a Lecturer in Civil Engineering at Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET), Lecturer in Civil Engineering at Southern Institute of Punjab (SIP), and received the Participant's Award at the International Training Seminar on Clean Energy Technologies and Applications in Belt and Road Countries and Regions, 2022. He has published 8 SCI and 1 EI scientific papers.
