On March 16th, Dr. Beth Harville, Vice President of Drury University, Dr. Jin Wang, Dean of Business School, accompanied by Prof. Wang Lu of Hui Ke Education Group visited QIT. Vice President Wei Liqing, Vice President Shan Chengjuan, Dean of the Business School Zhu Qingmei, and Sun Keke, Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation met with the guests. Vice President Wei Liqing and Dr Beth Harville signed a MOU between the two schools.

During the meeting, Wei Liqing first welcomed the arrival of Dr. Beth Harville and her colleagues. He said that Drury University is a famous U.S. university with a long academic history and rich experience in education. He hoped to establish a substantial partnership with Drury in joint training, mutual visits, and cooperation in scientific research. Shan Chengjuan introduced in detail the educational philosophy, educational scale, the construction of teaching staff as well as the achievements of international education cooperation in recent years of QIT.  She expressed the hope that through this visit, the two universities can deepen friendship, actively explore channels for cooperation, and jointly provide strong support for the academic and professional development of students.

Dr. Beth Harville expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality of QIT and introduced Drury. She stated that Drury payed attention to students' international learning experiences and practical experience, which coincides with the philosophy of QIT. Drury also shared many similarities with QIT in professional settings and international education. It is hoped that the two schools will learn from each other and explore more opportunities for students.

Then, Vice President Wei Liqing and Dr. Beth Harville signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the two schools. Vice President Wei Liqing said that Dr. Beth Harville's visit and signing of the memorandum of understanding plays an important role in promoting the internationalization of QIT. The signing of the memorandum of cooperation would facilitate the close cooperation between leading disciplines and the development and exchange of the two universities.

After the meeting, the delegation of Drury visited the experimental teaching centers accompanied by Sun Keke, Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation. The delegation highly appreciated the development and the achievements QIT made in recent years.
