On the afternoon of September 26th, the Seventh College Students’ Science and Technology Festival of Shandong-- Physical Innovation Contest come to a close successfully in QIT. Nearly 300 contestants and instructors from more than 20 colleges and universities participated in the closing ceremony. Students from QIT get gratifying award in the Seventh College Students’ Science and Technology Festival of Shandong-- Physical Innovation Contest.

Our institute has selected eight groups of students to participate in the contest. After the strict judge and review, the eight groups of works all win the awards. Ma Li and Zhang Baohe’s work“the new hall element physical properties experiment device" and Xufei and Wei Hanyu’s work “powered by photoelectric control multistage coil gun collision experiment device" won the first first prize. We also won second prize and third prize for other works. It is the first time for QIT students to participate in physical innovation competition and have achieved excellent results, for which reflected our students' experimental skills, the science quality and creative ability; at the same time, it played a significant role in practical teaching of physics to a new level in our college.

Physical Innovation Contest of Shandong is sponsored by the Science and Technology Association of Shandong and is one of the main activities of College Students’ Science and Technology Festival of Shandong. This year’s contest is commonly host by Shandong Physics Academy, Shandong University and QIT, which shows the technological innovation of college students of related majors. The contest aims to create science-loving, innovative and competitive environment and atmosphere for students and promote college students to adapt the society. It also provides the channels for college students and enterprise to settle the employment and better serve the economic construction of cultural power of Shandong province.
